Nuvo Spine and Sports Institute is dedicated to offering our Premier Personalized Spine and Joint Care to as many in need as possible, not just those with the very best insurance plans.
That’s why we welcome more health insurance plans than any other Pain Management Center in Southern California. We accept health insurance plans offered by most major insurance carriers. Additionally, most worker compensation, workplace personal injury and car accident cases are accepted.
We update our list of insurance providers frequently, but if you do not see your provider below or want to confirm that we accept your insurance, please call us at 818-986-0200 or email us and we will get back to you promptly.
Please bring your current insurance card(s) each time you visit our offices. Believe it or not, some plans will not allow us to see you unless you present your card at the time of your appointment.
Insurance plans we unfortunately do not accept:
- Kaiser (please contact Kaiser directly for care)
- Medi-cal
- HMO’s (Unless it’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Network)
- Covered California Plans (Obama Care)
Health Insurance plans accepted by Nuvo Spine and Sports Institute include:
A note about health insurance plans:
Although we are an in-network provider for most carriers, individual plan coverage may vary. We will always do our best to check your coverage and out of pocket cost once we have checked your individual benefits through your plan.
In most cases, we will bill your primary health insurance company directly. If we haven’t heard from your insurer after 30 to 45 days, we may ask for your help in contacting them. Amounts that are denied, rejected or unpaid may become your responsibility, depending on your plan type and benefits.
Medical billing can be confusing. The last thing you want is to be distracted by complicated bills while completing your treatment. We have the staff and informational resources available to determine how much of your treatment your health insurance will pay and how much will be your responsibility. By providing you with important information on your medical bills, you will be able to more carefully plan your payment option.
